Armed with lush hooks and an addictive production style, the Bay Area native attracts new listeners with sonically captivating production and crisp lyrical imagery. For the last decade he hasn’t lived anywhere for longer than two years, but the nomadic lifestyle has shaped his unique identity. Loved ones know him as Nik. He got a start taking the summer after the 12th grade to try to learn music production & songwriting. This took him just outside of Oakland, CA to pursue a mix engineer internship and a local private studio nearby in Hayward, CA while attending an art school in Emeryville, CA for a few years.
After his time and working on his craft for a couple of years he came to the realization that he wanted to dedicate his time to being a recording artist. The name “Tilden Parc” comes from a regional park in Berkeley, CA that is home to some of Nik’s best memories as a young kid. Nik’s goal has always been to make a living doing what he loves. The name serves as a call to action to stick to your roots and be all you can be. Despite the moody overtones of his sound, the themes in his music are rooted in the pursuit of a full and dynamic life.
