Why should I attend WMCAT 20/20?

WMCAT 20/20: Exploring Conflicting Visions for the Future was designed for you. We’re creating a space for you to learn from nationally known thought disrupters, engage with new ideas and voices, and sharpen your vision of our community and your place within it. You’ll have opportunities to make unlikely connections and discover new ways to see your world while engaging content that’s relevant for your own life and for our community.

You can expect to engage up to six hours each month through our monthly 1.5 hour community meeting, optional pop-up breakout engagements, and self-paced monthly resources with online discussion.

Commit to bringing your full self and an open mind, and we’ll provide the opportunity for you to connect, learn, and re-frame.

What is included in registration?

Registration for WMCAT 20/20 is $350 and includes eight months of learning and growing in community. Registered attendees will receive preparatory resources and a guiding framework for engagement at the end of October, with a monthly rhythm beginning in November:

      • Monthly virtual community meetings on the second Thursday from 12-1:30 pm with a featured keynote speaker, meaningful discussion, and announcements.
      • Pop-up breakout engagements each month – like panel discussions, performances, and guided conversations.
      • Monthly emailed resources and prompts for individual reflection and online community discussion at your own pace.

Participants will also receive a curated engagement kit during the series, with special treats and learning materials.

Registered participants will receive instructions on how to access virtual engagements prior to the first monthly meeting and each month thereafter.

Engage in active learning around community prosperity through transformational speakers, art and music, relationship building, and constant discovery. Keynote speakers Manuel Pastor, Jim Wallis and B.A. Parker are already confirmed, with more on the way.
